What is User Experience Design (UXD)?

UXD is an emerging framework for designing interactive systems, such as websites or applications, with an emphasis on the overall experience of the end user. It’s a much more comprehensive approach than traditional “website design”, combining elements of graphic design, psychology, sociology, marketing, information, architecture, interaction design, usability testing and more.
